New Loco season beckons…

Our first year as Ferndown Locomotive was a ‘promotion’ season of sorts, as this season, we will be competing in Hayward Sunday League Division Four - which should be a great challenge. Pre-Season Training

Pre-season training for all players and friends, starts on Wednesday 12th July at King George at 7pm.

This year, training will mainly consist of 6-a-side football, with an effort to try and get more players to training - no more Sharkey-esque runs!

Training will be open to anyone wanting re-sign this year, similarly, its also open to any new player that wants to try out for the club.

All players from last year are invited to re-sign for the club. Ali has the signing on forms, you can contact Ali direct to arrange completion of these - his email address is located on the ‘Contact’ page of this web-site.

The Gaffa would prefer and appreciate any player making the effort to go to Ali’s house to re-sign, saving Ali having to run around at the last minute.

As training is starting late this year, it means Locomotive will have to get a move on.

The signing on forms have to be in to Ali by 24th July at the latest. The squad is expected to be bigget than last year - that said, we need 11 forms minimum by this date - otherwise the club not be eligible to enter the league, forfeiting hundreds of pounds.

Also, a little reminder of the Ferndown Locomotive AGM and Pre-Season gathering on Sunday August 27th Bank Holiday Sunday at Paul’s house.
