Andy Smith

Hot Rod, Smithy, Snowman… you can call him whatever you like, but Mr Smith continues to be a pivotal member of the Loco squad.

Andy was around from the dark days of the yellow and green kit, where the pitch at West Moors was so small he could lay across is with his head on one touchline and his feet touching the other.

A Bournemouth socialite, Andy is a popular member of the squad with a commitment to better himself on the pitch.  A ssomeone who has known him since his teens, he is a top player and always wants to achieve more, and this was evident last season, where him frequent performances earned him many MOM’s, but also the accolade of Managers Player - a fantastic feat.

Once a player who enjoyed the Satuirday night bevvies, Smithy can now be found disecting the tactics during Match of the Day, generally helping him to learn more about his new centre-midfield position, which he has taken to so well.  He is going to be an important person in the squad for the 2008/09 campaign.
