This season saw the welcome return of an ex-Loco lad from a couple of seasons ago. Since the last time Simon Ward pulled on the red and black strip of the Locomotive he has turned into a Dorset dominating, press exposure..ing, real estate tycoon but in amongst all that success and there was something missing…a weekly dose of Loco love. Si’s rifle shot proved a real asset and after a lively goal scoring start he started to form an effective strike partnership with whippet Jonny Haines but Si’s polystyrene bones gave up and thus started a string of frustrating injuries. This has coincided with Loco’s so far stuttering results so hurry up and sort those rubbish joints out Wardy!
